Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring smooth patient flow and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, handling medical and dental records, and supporting administrative functions with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Patient Hospitality:
Greet patients warmly upon arrival, manage check-in/check-out processes, and maintain a welcoming reception area.
Scheduling & Coordination:
Manage the appointment calendar, schedule patient visits efficiently, and handle multi-line phone calls.
Insurance & Billing:
Verify dental insurance benefits, enter patient demographics, and collect copays or outstanding balances at the time of service.
Administrative Support:
Maintain accurate electronic patient records, scan documents, and manage office correspondence.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate effectively with clinical staff and doctors to ensure smooth patient transitions and an efficient daily schedule.
Requirements Experience:
1-2 years of experience working at a dental front desk or in a medical office setting (preferred).
Software:
Familiarity with practice management software (experience with Open Dental is a major plus).
Skills:
Strong multitasking abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and high attention to detail.
Languages:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred to best serve our local community.

Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
