Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face and efficient coordinator at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for every patient. Your energy and organizational skills will help manage patient scheduling, insurance verification, medical records, and administrative support with precision and professionalism. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and manage appointment scheduling using Curve Hero. Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and handle billing while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Maintain accurate dental records and medical documentation review to support care plans and treatment documentation. Assist with intake procedures, including collecting patient information and updating electronic health records. Manage filing of dental and medical records, ensure proper documentation review, and facilitate smooth office operations. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while managing appointment reminders and patient inquiries efficiently. Experience Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and medical billing practices is a plus. Proven experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations. Demonstrated ability to handle medical administrative support tasks such as documentation review, filing, and health information management. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; typing accuracy (including 10 key typing) is essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous front desk or office management experience in a healthcare setting will help you excel in this role!
