Job Description

Job Overview The Audiology Technician / Front Desk Administrator plays a key role in supporting audiologists during patient testing and treatment, while also managing daily front office operations. This is an ideal role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and enjoys working directly with patients in both a clinical and customer service capacity. Ability to travel to remote office location as needed. Key Responsibilities Audiology Support Assist audiologists with hearing screenings, device fittings, and diagnostic procedures. Perform basic tests such as tympanometry, hearing aid troubleshooting, and device cleaning. Educate patients on proper use and care of hearing aids and accessories. Maintain and calibrate audiology equipment as directed. Ensure accurate patient records in the EHR system. Front Desk Administration Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional first impression. Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars, and coordinate follow-ups. Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and handle check-in/check-out processes. Collect payments, verify insurance, and manage patient billing information. Maintain organized patient files and ensure HIPAA compliance. Support office operations including supply management and daily reporting. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience in healthcare administration, audiology, ENT, or related field strongly preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills with a compassionate, patient-first attitude. Ability to multitask and manage both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and office software. Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
