In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your expertise in medical administrative support, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, and strong communication skills will help facilitate smooth clinic operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality patient care through exceptional front desk management, appointment scheduling, and insurance verification. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent patient service and phone etiquette. Schedule appointments using medical scheduling software such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth, ensuring optimal clinic flow. Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verification procedures for Medicare, Medicaid, and other providers. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Exceptional patient service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities. Ability to handle sensitive health information in accordance with HIPAA standards. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Previous clinic or medical office experience is highly desirable.
