This role is the face and voice of our practice, ensuring our patients receive excellent service from the moment they check in until they head out the door. Key Responsibilities As a Medical Receptionist, you will handle a variety of administrative tasks to keep our clinic running smoothly:
Patient Coordination:
Scheduling appointments and answering multi-line phone systems with a professional demeanor.
Financials:
Collecting copays, patient balances, and accurately entering or updating insurance information.
Clinical Support:
Processing prescription refill requests and managing inbound faxes.
Orders & Referrals:
Creating and sending medical orders and managing outgoing referrals to ensure continuity of care.
Administrative Flow:
Maintaining patient records and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Requirements Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting (Preferred). Strong understanding of medical insurance and copay collection. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Reliable transportation to commute between the Suntree and Oak St locations as scheduled. Why Join Us?
