Front Desk Coordinator•
Plastic Surgery Practice Location:
Miami Center for
Plastic Surgery Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 9:00 AM•5:00 PM We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing plastic surgery practice. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients and will play a key role in creating an exceptional patient experience while ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars Verify patient demographics and insurance information Process insurance authorizations, pre-certifications, and pre-approvals as required Submit and follow up on insurance verification requests Collect co-pays, balances, and process patient payments Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming Assist with other administrative duties as needed Qualifications Previous front desk, receptionist, or medical office experience preferred Experience working in a plastic surgery, cosmetic, dermatology, or medical office setting is a plus Knowledge of insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and pre-approvals is highly preferred Experience processing insurance claims and obtaining authorizations is a strong advantage Excellent customer service and communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer applications Preferred Skills Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to build rapport with patients and provide outstanding customer service Experience handling confidential patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and development Supportive and team-oriented work environment If you are a motivated professional who enjoys helping patients and has experience with medical front office operations and insurance processing, we would love to hear from you.
