Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Front Desk Agent to join our vibrant dental practice team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the overall efficiency of our dental office. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and efficient front desk environment Schedule patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring optimal clinic flow Verify insurance benefits, process claims, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy and attention to detail Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls appropriately with excellent phone etiquette Maintain accurate medical records, update patient information, and review documentation for completeness and compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and processing of payments. Support dental administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and managing electronic health records. Experience Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is highly preferred, especially in front desk or administrative roles within clinics or hospitals Proficiency in dental terminology, and understanding of medical billing processes Strong computer skills with familiarity in dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in compliance with HIPAA standards Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations Experience with multi-line phone systems, typing (including 10-key), and Microsoft Office applications is essential Familiarity with health information management practices related to medical records and documentation review Join us in delivering exceptional patient care through efficient office management!
