Experienced Dental Receptionist

Experienced Dental Receptionist:

Our Dental Clinic is a rapidly growing private dental practice located in Miami, FL. We are seeking an experienced Dental Receptionist to join our wonderful team full-time!

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly, professional manner
• Assist with with optimization of scheduling of patients for upcoming appointments
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate person; direct calls to the Dentist when necessary
• Check patients in and out, preparing charts for rescheduling or cancellation of appointments
• Schedule new patients and adjust patient schedules as necessary
• Maintain office security by following policies and procedures; verifying patient information; checking for discrepancies; completing required reports and filing documents
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers
• Follow all HIPAA regulations as set forth by Florida regulations

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a dental office setting
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for one's own work
