Job Description

Established orthopedic practice seeking an experienced Front Office Medical Receptionist to join a fast-paced, high-functioning team. This role requires someone who is organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining a warm, professional, and patient-focused approach. We are looking for a mature, responsible individual who takes ownership of their role, stays on task without constant direction, and contributes positively to overall office flow.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Patient check-in and check-out with accuracy and efficiency Insurance verification and eligibility confirmation prior to visits Obtaining and tracking precertifications and authorizations Managing high-volume phone lines in a professional and timely manner Scheduling appointments accurately while optimizing provider schedules Managing faxes, emails, voicemails, and online patient requests Collecting and accurately posting copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and self-pay balances Retrieving mail and preparing daily deposits with accuracy and accountability Working closely with the billing team to ensure accurate patient accounts and clear communication Maintaining organization and flow at the front desk throughout the day
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of medical front office experience (required) Strong understanding of insurance verification, referrals, and authorizations Proven ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant supervision High level of accuracy, especially with patient information and payments EMR experience preferred Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required

Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
