Position Overview We are seeking a professional, reliable, and patient-focused Bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Front Office Coordinator to join our Orlando in-office team. This is a fully in-person (non-remote) position that plays a critical role in front office operations and patient experience, ensuring smooth daily workflow, accurate documentation, and excellent patient support. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required to effectively support our diverse patient population. Key Responsibilities Greet, welcome, and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Schedule and manage patient appointments and provider calendars Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits verified by the insurance verification department Communicate with patients via phone calls, emails, and text messages Answer, screen, and route incoming calls, emails, and patient inquiries Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in EMR systems and medical records Scan, upload, and organize medical documentation Process medical records requests in a timely manner Process clerical duties including faxes and emails Collect co-pays and payments; reconcile daily transactions Coordinate referrals as needed Coordinate with providers to ensure timely completion of documentation Take basic vitals (weight, height, blood pressure) Provide Spanish/English interpretation and patient support as needed Maintain front desk organization and office supply inventory Maintain a tidy and clean front lobby area Support compliance documentation and administrative needs as assigned Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree or certification in Medical Administration preferred Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical or behavioral health office preferred Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance and front office workflows Experience with EMR systems ( eClinicalWorks, AdvancedMD, Kareo, SimplePractice, or similar preferred ) Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment Why Join OPA Behavioral Health?
