Our holistic approach strives to address our clients' mental health needs. Clients range from age 5 years through older adulthood and represent a wide range of diagnoses. Services offered include counseling, medication management, and psychosocial rehabilitation services (PSR) provided by our dedicated team of psychotherapists and psychiatric medical providers. Some clients/patients are attending virtual telehealth and in-person appointments (with safety protocols). The Front Desk team, Administration, and several Providers are working directly from CCS office in Orlando.
Basic Responsibilities:
Front Desk Specialists are responsible for carrying out clerical tasks and functions in an organized, productive, and efficient manner to support the day-to-day operations of a mental health company. They will facilitate clear communication with patients/clients and providers in a professional manner.

Front Office Manager Job Description Front Desk Specialist:
1. Greets and directs patients/clients and visitors. Facilitates the check-in and check-out process of patients/clients. 2. Schedules and confirms appointments for new and current patients, which regularly involves data entry into the electronic health record (EHR) and collection of payments. 3. Regularly updates and tracks waiting lists for patients/clients. 4. Engages in phone communication with patients/clients in a professional manner, documents communication in the electronic health record, and shares communication with providers. 5. Sends, receives, reviews, and organizes intake forms and required paperwork from patients/clients. 6. Processes requests for medical records or related documentation, by having the patients/clients complete the necessary authorization, forms, and submits requests to the medical records department and providers. 7. Facilitates communication and coordination of care by representing CCS in communication with patients/clients, external providers, and community stakeholders. 8. Phone calls and routing them to specific providers, departments, and management. Responsible for retrieving phone messages and routing them to the specific parties involved such as specific providers and departments. 9. Follows and maintains the processes, protocols, and systems of the front desk to ensure compliance with medical and behavioral health standards. 10. Attends and participates in required training and staff meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with clerical work in behavioral health, health care, and/or medical offices. Must be bilingual in Spanish and English, with strong conversational skills in both. High School Diploma or GED. At least has one year of post-secondary education (college or equivalent). Excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced office setting. Understands basic finance and business skills. Possesses word-processing skills. Possesses a strong ability to multi-task (data entry while speaking with clients/patients on the phone and or in person. Is organized and punctual. Has the ability to receive constructive feedback, ask questions, and work on a collaborative team. Must provide a resume, 3 references, and completed employment application. First-round interviews are virtual (video call) and final interviews are in person in a CCS office.
