This role is onsite Mon-Fri, but may require work after hours and on the weekends as needed.

The role of the Patient Coordinator is to answer patients and nurses in a timely manner. A successful Patient Coordinator should be able to communicate efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent) Answer phone calls and monitor incoming text messages from patients Triage calls or messages internally to the appropriate staff Possess excellent communication and written skills to effectively speak to employees, patients and pharmacies Document notes and medical records Prepare and submit reports on pharmacy operation Education and/or Experience Requirements College degree preferred 2+ years experience working in healthcare Basic Qualifications Good time-management skills with the ability to handle various open referrals simultaneously Excellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skills Communicate in a timely manner
