Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a professional, dependable, and customer-focused Medical Office Phone Operator/Medical Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient service. Responsibilities Answer and manage a high volume of incoming calls professionally and courteously. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments. Route calls and messages accurately to providers and staff. Obtain and update patient demographic and insurance information. Assist patients with general questions regarding office policies, appointments, and services. Document telephone encounters and messages in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Follow up on voicemails and patient inquiries in a timely manner. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy. Provide coverage as necessary for check in and check out. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous medical office experience is preferred but not required. We will train a motivated and dependable individual with a positive attitude. Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology is a plus. Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient with computers, phones, and office software. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Must be dependable, punctual, and maintain regular attendance. Must have reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Schedule Monday
