• In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, providing exceptional patient service and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help create a positive experience for patients while supporting the clinical staff. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, highly organized, and possesses a passion for healthcare support, with experience in medical office management and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. We are willing to train the right person. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated healthcare environment committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Perfect for anyone wanting to begin in healthcare, entry level position! Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and assist with check-in procedures using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth. Manage appointment scheduling efficiently through medical scheduling software; coordinate with providers to optimize daily clinic flow (When applied). Handle patient inquiries via multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; document patient requests accurately. Collect and process payments, perform medical collection tasks, and manage billing procedures using medical billing software like eClinicalWorks or Dentrix. Maintain accurate medical records by filing documents, reviewing documentation for completeness, and ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy. Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, typing reports, and managing office supplies to support daily clinic operations. Experience Must be 18 years or older
MUST BE FLUENT IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH
• Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required; clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred not required. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems is preferred not required. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred not required. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) are preferred for documentation and communication tasks. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at the front desk. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
