Our team is seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Office Receptionist to join our busy practice. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive and seamless experience for our patients from the moment they walk in the door.Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction:
Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Verify patient information and ensure accuracy.Appointment Scheduling:
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, ensuring optimal patient flow and efficient use of providers' time.Communication:
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages.Administrative Support:
Handle front office tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing patient records. Assist with insurance verification and referrals as needed.Data Entry:
Input and update patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system with precision and confidentiality.Patient Flow:
Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized. Monitor patient flow and communicate with clinical staff regarding patient status.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus. Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.What We Offer:
