Job Description

Job Overview Join a warm, mission-driven mental health practice in Lawrenceville, GA as our Front Desk Medical Receptionist. We are looking for a professional, compassionate, and highly organized person who loves helping people and creating a welcoming environment. You will be the first face and voice our clients encounter, setting the tone for their entire experience. If you enjoy working with people, are bilingual in Spanish and English, and have experience in a medical setting, this role offers a chance to make a real difference every day. This is a full-time 1099 contract position with a consistent weekday schedule and no weekend work.

None Compensation:
Starting at $2,000 per month What You'll Do Greet clients in a friendly, professional manner and help them feel comfortable as they arrive for appointments Answer and manage phone calls, voicemails, and messages in both Spanish and English Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments to keep the day running smoothly Check clients in and out, update basic information, and maintain accurate records Collect payments and provide receipts when needed Communicate with therapists/clinicians about client arrivals, cancellations, and schedule changes Keep the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming Protect client privacy and handle all information in line with HIPAA and practice policies Assist with general office tasks such as scanning, filing, data entry, and emails Required Qualifications Bilingual Spanish/English (required) - must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical or healthcare setting (front desk, medical office, clinic, or similar) Strong customer service skills and a genuinely caring, patient, and professional demeanor Comfortable using a computer for scheduling, email, and basic data entry (training will be provided on our specific systems) Excellent communication skills, in person and over the phone Reliable, punctual, and able to work the full schedule Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-6:30 PM Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Preferred Experience Experience in a mental health, counseling, or behavioral health practice Familiarity with any electronic medical record (EMR) or scheduling systems Experience working with diverse client populations What We Offer A stable, consistent Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends A positive, supportive work environment where your role is valued The opportunity to grow your skills in mental health administration and client care The chance to make a meaningful impact on individuals and families in our community How to Apply If this sounds like a great fit for you, we'd love to hear from you.
