We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and experienced Dental Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to join our team.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) Greet patients warmly and deliver exceptional customer service in-person and by phone Schedule appointments efficiently and confirm appointments (calls/texts/emails) Verify insurance eligibility and benefits (PPO), enter/update insurance information Create and present treatment plans and financial estimates; collect copays/deductibles Manage daily check-in/check-out, patient forms, and patient flow coordination Handle patient questions about procedures, fees, and office policies with professionalism Process payments and maintain accurate records (cash/card/financing when applicable) Coordinate referrals, follow-ups, and recall system Communicate clearly with clinical staff to support a smooth schedule Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient privacy Support office organization: scanning, paperwork, task lists, basic reporting Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of dental front desk experience (required) Strong understanding of dental scheduling, insurance verification, and treatment estimates Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, Eaglesoft, Curve, etc.) Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) Bilingual English/Spanish Experience presenting treatment plans and financing options (CareCredit/Sunbit/etc.) Familiarity with PPO plans and common dental procedures/codes Strong collections skills and ability to handle difficult conversations politely What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Supportive team and growth opportunities [Health insurance / PTO / paid holidays / bonuses / dental benefits] Modern office environment and systems
