Job Description

Cardiovascular Consultants of South Georgia is growing! With the addition of new providers, we are seeking to expand our Scheduling team in our Thomasville office. As an Appointment Scheduler, you will assist the Appointment Scheduling Supervisor to ensure efficient operation of the clinic schedules. Your support duties will coincide with your duties as a scheduler. The goal is to complete all activities accurately with high-quality care and in a timely and professional manner.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High School diploma or GED Minimum of one-year experience in a customer service setting, preferably in healthcare Responsibilities Job Specific
  • Schedule office visits for patients with the appropriate provider, utilizing the correct time/location slot in the template
  • Enter notes/special instructions needed for scheduling in the electronic medical record.
  • Contact patients via telephone to confirm or reschedule appointments in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Manage demanding workload with accuracy and a positive attitude
  • Other duties as assigned. Required Skills

  • Medical administrative support
  • Patient service experience
  • Proficiency in EHR systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
