Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (Korean/English) Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will be the friendly first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach and excellent communication skills will help facilitate patient intake, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative support. Duties Greet patients warmly in both Korean and English, creating a positive first impression Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft Schedule appointments accurately while coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily operations Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth Review medical documentation including care plans, CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes, ICD-10/ICD-9 codes, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly Maintain organized dental records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards Assist with insurance verification, billing procedures, and collections to support revenue cycle management Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions about procedures, payments, or appointments with clarity and professionalism Requirements Fluent proficiency in Korean is essential for effective communication with diverse patients Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and health information management systems Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or eClinicalWorks; experience with Meditech or Athenahealth is a plus Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and typing speed of at least 10-key for efficient data entry Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Demonstrated ability to handle medical billing, insurance verification, and collections effectively Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks Strong customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette in a fast-paced setting 치과 업무가 처음이신 초보나 무경력자분이라도 괜찮습니다. 배우고자 하는 강한 의지와 열정만 있으시다면, 기초부터 하나하나 자세하고 친절하게 가르쳐 드립니다. 두려워하지 말고 도전하세요! 여러분의 소중한 이력서를 기다립니다.
