Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Dental Receptionist. Your energetic and welcoming attitude will set the tone for a positive patient experience. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, insurance verification, and medical records with precision and professionalism. Ensure smooth clinic operations while fostering a friendly environment that encourages patient trust and satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced dental setting. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software (Dentrix Ascend) Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing and collections Manage patient intake forms, update medical records, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette Maintain dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations Assist with insurance verification and documentation review to support accurate billing Skills Proven experience in dental office or clinic administrative support with strong office management skills Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms Knowledge of dental terminology and coding for accurate documentation and billing Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing at 10-key speed Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in filing, record keeping, and appointment scheduling Exceptional patient service skills combined with effective communication abilities in bilingual settings preferred Ability to handle medical billing processes including collections, insurance verification, and care plan documentation Experience working in a busy dental clinic or hospital environment is highly desirable Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care while supporting each other's growth. Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
