This is a hands-on leadership role : you'll own the front desk while guiding, training, and uplifting others. Collaboration is key—you'll work side by side with providers, medical assistants, billing, and the office manager to keep our practice running smoothly and ensure every patient feels cared for from start to finish. What You'll Do Own the Front Desk:
Be the calm in the storm—greeting patients, managing check-ins and check-outs, and keeping the flow smooth with professionalism and warmth. Multitask Like a Pro:
Manage phones, walk-ins, appointment changes, and patient inquiries—all with accuracy and grace. Guide Patients with Clarity:
Explain insurance details, balances, and next steps in care with patience and authority. Command the EMR:
Leverage platforms like Mod Med EMR and our various other tech platforms to schedule, input data, and follow up seamlessly. Bridge Teams:
Collaborate daily with physicians, medical assistants, billing, and management to coordinate schedules, procedures, and patient flow. Lead & Inspire:
Train, support, and motivate other front office staff, ensuring a consistent, high-touch patient experience. Elevate the Experience:
Spot inefficiencies, propose improvements, and help us stay ahead of patient expectations. What You Bring Front Office Leadership:
Prior experience running a busy medical front desk (podiatry, chiro, PT or procedural specialty practice preferred). EMR Proficiency:
Comfortable with using scheduling software and EMRs (like Mod Med, E-Clinical Works, NextGen Office, Epic or similar). Tech Savvy:
Ability to master our EMR system (we use Mod Med) and various other tech platforms within 30 days of hire. Insurance Expertise:
Strong knowledge of insurance verification, co-pays, and patient communication. Composure + Charisma:
Professional, calm, and approachable even under pressure. Bilingual Advantage (Preferred): English/Spanish fluency is a plus (not required). Service-First Attitude:
