Medical Receptionist / Front Desk — caring, organized professional wanted for a family-centered therapy practice in Carbondale. Synergy Therapeutic Group is a well-established physical and occupational therapy clinic in Carbondale, IL, with 230+ five-star reviews and a reputation for treating every patient and family like they matter. We're looking for a warm, dependable medical receptionist / front desk professional to be the first voice our patients hear and the welcoming face they see. You'd be a great fit if you have: Prior front desk, medical office, or customer-service experience A warm, clear phone manner and dependable, on-time work habits Comfort learning scheduling software and computer systems Care, patience, and a genuine desire to help people — including adults in pain and parents of young children What you'll do day to day: Greet and check in patients and families, in person and by phone Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and manage the daily calendar Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage and policies clearly and kindly Collect and record payments accurately Keep patient records and communication organized and up to date Work closely with our therapy team to keep the day running smoothly
