As a Bilingual Front Desk Medical Receptionist , you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth front desk operations and delivering exceptional service to our patients. Your professionalism, organization, and ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish will help create a seamless experience for patients from check-in to discharge. If you're compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, we want you on our team! What You'll Do Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Schedule and confirm appointments for surgical consultations, pre-op visits, and follow-ups. Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations. Manage patient intake paperwork, ensuring all surgical consent forms are accurate and complete. Communicate clearly with patients in both English and Spanish , answering questions and providing instructions. Coordinate communication between surgical teams, referring providers, and patients. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations. Handle multi-line phone systems, route calls, and respond to inquiries promptly. Assist with front office billing, collections, and documentation related to surgical procedures. Support other administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations. Basic Qualifications Fluent in English and Spanish (bilingual required) Strong understanding of medical terminology and scheduling procedures. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist , Front Desk Coordinator , or similar role in a surgery center, orthopedic, or pain management clinic. Experience with EHR systems (such as Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or Kareo). Familiarity with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing workflows. Prior experience in personal injury or workers' compensation cases is a plus.
