EXPERIENCED
Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience from the moment they walk through the door. Your expertise in medical administrative support, insurance verification, and office management will help maintain seamless operations. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about providing exceptional patient service, possesses strong computer skills, and has experience working with Dentrix Ascend.

Your ability to handle multi-line phone systems, manage dental records, and perform clerical tasks with professionalism will contribute significantly to our clinic's success. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression for all visitors Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft Verify insurance coverage and benefits through systems such as EMR platforms and insurance portals Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating medical records and documentation review Handle phone inquiries using multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette Assist with insurance claims processing, including medical billing, CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and Medicare documentation Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards Support clinic operations by filing documents, managing medical records, and performing data entry tasks such as 10 key typing Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure care plans are accurately documented and communicated Perform billing activities related to medical collection efforts and follow-up on outstanding balances Experience Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting with at least one year of office experience Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth is highly preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and insurance verification processes Experience working with dental office software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and health information management systems Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Join our team where your dedication to excellent patient service and administrative expertise will make a meaningful difference.
