Our ideal candidate will be team-oriented, patient-focused, compassionate, and reliable. Must multi-task and thrive in a busy work environment. FUSE and Dentrix Ascend software knowledge is a plus. Bilingual is preferred. Dental Medicaid Insurance experience is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities -
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries.
  • Verify insurance information and assist with billing and payment processing.
  • Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality.
  • Present dental treatment plans to patients.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role
  • Knowledge of dental or medical terminology is preferred
  • Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with dental or medical practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eagle soft, Epic, Clinical Works)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information
