Job Description

Company Overview Lakeland Hills Dental is dedicated to providing exceptional general dentistry services, committed to enhancing oral health and creating confident smiles in our community. Summary 'Dental Insurance Coordinator and Front Office' at Lakeland Hills Dental is a vital role responsible for managing insurance processes and ensuring smooth front office operations. We currently have a full staff, but we are pursuing an additional front office worker to help alleviate the work load from others. All of the current staff have been with us for the last 5-20 years ! Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accurate billing. Manage insurance claims submissions and follow-up to maximize reimbursements. Maintain organized medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist patients with billing inquiries and payment options. Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow at the front desk. Communicate effectively with insurance companies and healthcare providers. Uphold confidentiality and security of all medical records and sensitive information. Support the dental team by providing administrative assistance as needed. Qualifications Proven experience in medical or dental office administration. Strong knowledge of managed care, and insurance verification Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Prior experience in a dental office setting is highly preferred.
