Franklin Park, IL Job Details Part-time | Full-time $22 - $28 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Dental insurance Qualifications Chairside assisting English Organizational skills Multi-line phone systems Typing Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our vibrant and growing dental practice. Responsibilities Establish good communication with patients with greetings, general communication, treatment plan presentation, etc. Answer phones and schedule patients in effective manner. Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility using online portals or by phone. Enter insurance breakdowns and present/explain treatment plans to patients. Process insurance claims, follow up on unpaid claims, and perform collections for outstanding balances using dental billing and coding knowledge. Communicate effectively with insurance companies to verify benefits, submit claims electronically. Basic occasional chairside assisting, sterilization and taking x rays. English/Spanish translation in effective manner. Experience/Skills Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Excellent phone etiquette combined with strong clerical skills including filing, multi-line phone system operation, typing (including 10-key), and Microsoft Office applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. General positive attitude towards establishing positive work environment in the office and positive experiences for the patients are very significant.
