ON BONUS BASED ON EXPERIENCE.
Endodontic & Periodontic Associates has a position available for an exceptional and experienced dental receptionist, with ideally 1-3 years experience in the dental field. This position is primarily for our Joliet IL office, but this position may require some days worked in nearby affiliated dental offices. Knowledge of scheduling, insurance plans, and dental terminology is a plus. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, is helpful to staff and patients and is outgoing and friendly. Dentalvision or similar dental software knowledge preferred. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answer and manage incoming calls. Schedule patient appointments. Greet patients and notify the clinical staff of patient's arrival. Verify patient personal and insurance information. Secure all necessary paperwork and patient signatures. Provide patient handouts as warranted. Review patient forms for completeness and accuracy. Secure payment and/or set up financial arrangements with the patient. Prepare all patient records for next day appointments. Respond and comply to requests for information Confirm upcoming appointments and recalls according to office protocol Check daily appointment schedule Confirm patient appointments. Ensure all providers' schedules are full for next day. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information. Maintain patient files in an accurate and neat manner. Balance batch sheets against day sheets and send to Bookkeeping Department. Perform other tasks as deemed necessary to insure efficient patient flow in the office.
