Job Description

We are a growing pulmonary and sleep practice looking for a part-time front desk professional to own our afternoon / early evening patient experience. If you like being the "air traffic control" of an office, keep things organized when it's busy, and genuinely enjoy helping people, you'll fit in here.
Schedule & Status Hours:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm Occasional Saturdays as needed (planned in advance) Part-time, on-site role
What You'll Do:
You will rotate between Front Desks 1, 2, and 3 and keep the front of the practice running smoothly by: Answering phones : routing calls, taking messages, and handling basic patient questions Scheduling and confirming appointments Checking patients in and out at whichever front desk needs coverage Placing orders (e.g. supplies, labs, DME, or other patient-related orders as directed) Managing basic paperwork and data entry into our systems Supporting the clinical team with front-desk related tasks as needed In short: you're the calm, friendly, organized presence patients meet first and last.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a medical office or high-volume customer service role preferred Comfortable on the phone and with computers / basic software High attention to detail and ability to follow checklists / procedures
Dependable:
you show up on time and follow through on what you say you'll do Able to juggle multiple tasks without dropping details Positive, professional, and kind with patients and coworkers Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus , but not required if you learn quickly. How to
