Job Description

Job Description As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, playing a crucial role in ensuring a positive and professional experience. You will manage front office operations, including scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and processing insurance claims. Your familiarity in EagleSoft software and insurance claim procedures will be essential for the smooth operation of our practice. Experience with Dental Assisting is a plus to accommodate the clinic if/when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm and professional demeanor. Schedule and confirm appointments using EagleSoft software. Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry in EagleSoft. Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and courteous manner. Process and submit insurance claims, verify patient insurance coverage, and follow up on unpaid claims. Collect and process payments, including co-pays and balances. Maintain a clean and organized front office environment. Assist with other administrative tasks as needed. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in dental office administration is a plus. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred. Familiarity with EagleSoft software is required. Experience with processing and managing insurance claims is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with dental terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff. Ability to handle multiple tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and professional appearance.

From $17.00 per hour
