Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in patients for appointments
  • Schedule appointments
  • Verify patient insurance information and collect payment
  • Answer phone calls and take telephone messages
  • Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
  • Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a medical or dental receptionist role preferred
  • Familiarity with medical office procedures and terminology
  • Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
  • Knowledge of electronic medical record systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional demeanor and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
