We are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. The Medical Receptionist will play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience by managing appointments, handling patient inquiries, and maintaining accurate medical records. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations using eClinicalWorks. Conduct insurance verification and collect payments as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA standards. Handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Provide clerical support including filing, data entry, and managing correspondence. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care plans are executed. Support administrative functions such as data entry and maintaining health information management systems. Assist in managing office supplies and maintaining an organized front office environment. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar medical administrative support role is preferred. Proficiency in ClinicalWorks EMR system is desirable. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and typing proficiency (10 key typing preferred). Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries professionally. Familiarity with clinic or hospital environments is beneficial; dental office experience is a plus.
