Job overview We are looking for a suitably-experienced and motivated person to join our team. You will be based at Amber valley CMHT reception on the first floor, town hall, Ripley . As a receptionist/ team administrative support, you will support services based within this site and other DHCFT teams using the building. This will include support to mange the day to day running of the building. You will be part of the Amber Valley Community Mental Team. Support and supervision will be provided for the successful candidate, as well as ongoing training. The post is for 22.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will work Monday-Wednesday, 09:00-17:00 . Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a polite telephone manner, knowledge and experience of using IT programs, such as Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word, SystmOne. A part of the role will involve using Electronic Patient Records, complete typing and up-dating patient information. You will lead on room bookings within the building. You will support other administrators within the adult Community team. Main duties of the job We are looking for a highly-motivated, friendly, outgoing, reliable and flexible person to join our receptionist/admin support team. Applicants will need the confidence and experience to be able to deliver a high-quality, front-of-house reception/admin support service, including the greeting of clients to our premises, dealing with a wide range of telephone callers and staff, and working as part of a team delivering an excellent support service. Various services use our building and you will be responsible for liaising with these services and booking rooms. Experience of multi-tasking in a busy office environment is preferable. We are looking for a team player with a pleasant welcoming manner and the ability to prioritise conflicting workload demands. You will have good communication and organisational skills, together with IT skills (Word and Outlook essential), to be able to work with the general public both in person and on the telephone in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
