This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved animals while ensuring efficient operations within the veterinary practice. Our practice focuses on high-quality care in a clean, modern, spacious facility. We are a group of experienced veterinary staff who love what we do and like to work happily and efficiently. Our work environment is conducive to both personal and professional growth. In-house growth opportunities are available to interested employees. You will use your organizational skills to manage and direct the client/patient flow in the practice. Verbal communication skills will be vital for talking with owners about the health and care related issues of their pets. The ideal candidate should have superb telephone and customer service skills. Looking for someone with flexibility of schedule between part-time and full-time!
Essential Functions:
Greets clients and their pets with a friendly attitude. Answering phones Handles scheduling, medical information, billing, checkouts and reminders. Follows standard procedures for intake and processing to hospital, doggie day care, boarding and grooming. Helps with friendly transfer of pets from one team to another and back. Follows standard procedures for checking out pets and their owners, including processing charges. Clean pet exam room after each visit. Responsible for maintaining an above average clean and orderly front desk and lobby, including updates to product displays, refreshments for people and pets, etc. Checking in Prescription food orders and maintaining inventory counts. Sweeping and mopping of the lobby and cleaning/maintaining of public hospital restroom. Ensuring all of the pet's items are properly labeled and returned to the owner after boarding/day care. Reliable attendance and timeliness are essential. Benefits available to full time employees following 90 days of employment. In your cover letter or resume please list preferred contact method.
