This job requires the ability to travel to Overland Park, Gladstone, Blue Springs, and Grandview. We are seeking a dynamic and friendly Dental Office Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team! In this vital role, you will be the welcoming face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every patient from the moment they walk through the door. Your energetic approach and organizational skills will help coordinate appointments, manage administrative tasks, and support our orthodontic professionals in delivering exceptional care. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages efficiently Maintain accurate patient records using computer skills and dental management software Schedule and confirm appointments while managing calendar and time effectively Handle data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure all patient information is precise and up-to-date Assist with billing, bookkeeping, and insurance processing using QuickBooks or similar office management tools Support office management tasks such as supply inventory, filing systems, and general clerical duties Provide excellent customer support by addressing patient questions with professionalism and courtesy Maintain a clean, organized front desk area while practicing proper phone etiquette and organizational skills Skills Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and dental office management software Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist a diverse patient base Prior office experience, including clerical or administrative roles within medical or dental settings Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette Knowledge of medical or dental receptionist duties, including calendar management and appointment scheduling Experience with bookkeeping, data entry, filing, proofreading, and time management techniques Familiarity with office management tools such as QuickBooks and multi-line phone systems Personal assistant experience or medical receptionist background is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to transforming smiles while delivering top-tier customer care! Pay:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour
