Job Description:

Snelling has an immediate opening for a Medical Receptionist in Louisville, KY. This position will be responsible for various medical assisting duties including checking patients in/out, triage, vital signs, patient history, EKG, injections, and using electronic health records. The Medical Receptionist should be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Job duties include:

Insurance Verification Co-payment, Co-insurance and balance collections. Perform routine medical tests, such as blood pressure and glucose testing. Collecting correct and accurate initial and established patient information over the phone and upon check-in to maintain updated patient records. Gather and organize patient information, such as test results and insurance forms. Ensure that office supplies and are maintained properly. Schedule appointments. Answer telephones and direct calls to office personnel according to company procedures. Prepare records, reports and correspondence to keep charts up to date. Gather information from patients to be used in the preparation of healthcare insurance claims.
