Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for our patients, the Medical Receptionist plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized experience. This position involves managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in patients with professionalism and warmth. Schedule appointments and manage the surgery center's calendar efficiently. Verify patient information, insurance details, and medical records. Handle incoming calls, answer inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate department. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area. Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and data entry. Required Skills:
Previous experience as a receptionist in a medical setting is required. Demonstrated longevity in past roles , showcasing reliability and commitment. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficiency with medical software and general computer skills required. High school diploma or GED is required.
