Stassi Community Care Center, is the Greater New Orleans area's newest skilled nursing & rehabilitation center, and we are looking to grow our team. Designed for person-centered care, John A. Stassi Community Care Center is the first of its kind in the area and provides care in an atmosphere that promotes resident choice and creates a more home-like setting. We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Receptionist . In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support. What You Bring to the
Table:
Essential Qualifications:
Check the appointment calendar and ensure residents are ready for appointments. Coordinate with transpiration aid for resident appointments•make copies of resident's current physician's orders, progress sheets, and insurance cards (when appropriate); place and have ready to send with residents. Monitor front door and assist residents and visitors. Answer the facility telephone number when necessary. Keep proper clerical supplies for Nurses' Station. Any other duties assigned by the Director of Nursing, Charge Nurse, or Administrator.
The Ideal Candidate:
High School Diploma / GED required. Excellent verbal communication. Good telephone communication etiquette. Organized and resourceful. Customer-focused. Active listener. Adept at prioritizing, scheduling and multitasking. Ability to handle office equipment (e.g., the telephone system, printer and fax machine). What We Bring to the
