The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and strong organizational abilities. This role involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth office operations. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, dental billing, insurance verification, and possess a thorough understanding of dental terminology and clinical confidentiality policies. This position offers an engaging environment where exceptional customer service and attention to detail are paramount. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures, including verifying insurance information and updating patient records. Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft, while managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Maintain accurate dental and medical records. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit. Perform administrative support tasks including scheduling, filing and managing office supplies to ensure an organized workspace. Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care plans and facilitate smooth clinic operations. Requirements Proven experience as a medical or dental receptionist with familiarity in clinic or hospital settings preferred. Proficiency in Eaglesoft, or similar platforms is advantageous. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette and patient service excellence; bilingual abilities are a plus. Prior customer experience is highly desirable.
