Dental Office Receptionist Sea Coral Dentistry Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a keen attention to detail, contributing to the overall success of our clinic. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for dental providers. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date. Process insurance claims, including Medicare, and verify patient eligibility. Utilize dental software such as Open Dental for record management. Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery. Skills Proficiency in dental administrative support with experience in a clinic setting. Familiarity with dental terminology relevant to dental practices. Experience with office management tasks, including scheduling and record keeping. Ability to use software systems such as Open Dental effectively. Strong typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency for data entry tasks. Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
