Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Office Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while managing patient scheduling, answering phones, verifying insurance benefits, and supporting daily front office operations in a fast-paced dental practice. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently Answer incoming phone calls and respond with excellent phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly and courteously Verify dental insurance eligibility, benefits, and coverage prior to appointments Collect and update patient information, insurance details, and required forms Coordinate treatment schedules and maintain accurate patient records Communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, cancellations, and follow-ups Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records Assist with insurance claims, pre-authorizations, and documentation as needed Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Support the dental team with administrative and clerical tasks Qualifications Previous dental or medical front desk experience preferred Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing procedures Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Experience with dental practice management software preferred (Open Dental, Dentrix) Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills Join us in creating a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for from their first call to their final visit.
