Seeking a motivated Medical Secretary to join our dedicated clinical team. We are looking for an individual who brings a positive attitude , is a proactive self-starter , and thrives in a fast-paced environment . This position requires flexibility, strong multitasking abilities, and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear, professional communication.
Schedule:

Answering and handling telephone calls from providers, patients, etc., including triaging calls appropriately Checking patients in and out for their appointments Scheduling appointments including making referral and ancillary appointments Supporting physicians in their day-to-day work schedule Processing requests for referrals and prescription refills Handling tasks such as collecting payments, registering patients in the electronic medical records system, copying and mailing medical records, confirming insurance eligibility, providing patient reminders, addressing no-show patients, among others Keep track of office and medical supplies Coordinating care with other offices as needed Assisting in medical tasks such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and performing EKGs if needed Answering patients' questions regarding billing, insurance issues, etc. Working as a team with other members of office to provide high quality patient care Performing other duties as assigned by the Office Manager Employees who work 24 hours or more a week are
