Bilingual Medical Receptionist (Part-Time with Potential for Full-Time) Medical Center Eye Clinic Job Category Administrative/Clerical Overview Description Are you looking for more than just a job? If you answered yes to these questions, Medical Center Eye Clinic is the place for you. We are seeking a self-motivated and bilingual individual to join our team as a Bilingual Receptionist. This position plays a vital role in our organization by being the first point of contact for our patients and ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
Summary:
As a Bilingual Receptionist, you will serve as the face of our busy ophthalmic clinic. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting and checking in patients, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and providing general administrative support. Your ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish will be essential in providing excellent service to our diverse patient base. This position is part-time to start, with the potential to become full-time based on performance and business needs.Required Skills:
Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand both languages effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Organizational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic medical records systems and other software applications. Professional and polished demeanor with strong communication skills.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a medical setting. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.Note:
