Full Job Description Job Description Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 8:30 AM•5:00 PM Position Overview We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Medical Front Desk Receptionist to join a busy primary care clinic. This role is responsible for providing excellent patient service, managing front desk operations, handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have prior front desk experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience using EPIC. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner Manage front desk operations and patient check-in/check-out processes Answer high-volume incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments Maintain accurate patient information and documentation in EPIC Coordinate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow Provide excellent customer service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Previous front desk or receptionist experience Experience answering phone calls and scheduling appointments Hands-on experience with
EPIC EMR
system Strong customer service and communication skills Candidates must reside within approximately 30 minutes of Wayland, MA Must have been separated from previous employment with this healthcare system (including permanent, per diem, or contract positions) for at least 6 months before consideration
Preferred:
Prior healthcare or medical office experience Experience working in primary care or outpatient settings Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail Comfortable working with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary teams #MED1 #

$24.00•$25.00 per hour
