Work Arrangement:
Onsite A busy healthcare office is seeking reliable and professional Practice Assistants to support daily office operations. This role will primarily support the phone room, assisting patients by phone, coordinating with staff, and helping ensure a smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience using EPIC, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include:
Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a phone room setting Provide excellent customer service to patients Assist with scheduling, patient inquiries, and general administrative support Support front desk operations as needed, including check-in and check-out Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and internal staff Collaborate with a small team to support smooth daily operations Maintain accuracy and confidentiality when handling patient information
Qualifications:
EPIC experience required Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Previous healthcare, medical office, call center, or patient support experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
Additional Requirements:
Must be available for an in-person or virtual interview Reliable transportation required Strong attendance and punctuality are required This is a great opportunity for someone with EPIC experience who enjoys helping patients and working as part of a busy healthcare team. #TNG123
