Job Description

Overview Join our dental team as an Insurance Coordinator/Front Desk Specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the smooth operation of our practice. You will be managing insurance verification, records, and administrative tasks. Your proactive approach will support efficient patient flow, accurate billing, and compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA. History of dental assisting would be a great asset! Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing exceptional front desk service and guiding them through check-in procedures Verify insurance coverage and benefits using managed care systems, ensuring all patient information is accurate and up-to-date Collect and process insurance information Maintain organized records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times Assist with appointment scheduling, patient correspondence, and answering general inquiries via phone or in person Collaborate with staff to ensure proper documentation of procedures and accurate coding for billing and reimbursement Support the management of office supplies and ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area Qualifications Prior experience working in a dental office environment is highly preferred Strong knowledge of managed care processes, insurance verification, and dental billing procedures Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Proficiency in coding Experience handling records management and coding tasks Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative duties Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and insurance providers Knowledge of Eaglesoft History of dental assisting/certification would be an awesome asset!
