Job Description

Are you looking to grow within a private dental practice as an integral part of a close-knit team keen on providing top-tier customer service? Then we may be the office for you. Here at Key City Dental Care, our non-corporate, general dentistry family practice is looking for a front desk coordinator to join our team. As a front desk coordinator, you are the face of the office, so friendliness, professionalism and a welcoming demeanor are crucial to the position. Below is an overview of some of the responsibilities:
  • Check-in patients and ensure that their electronic paperwork has been completed in its entirety.
  • Tend to appointment confirmations and patient correspondence.
  • Send all updated electronic forms to patients in advance and keep track of your tasks accordingly.
  • Maintain focus on a productive schedule that supports the dentists and hygienists as they deliver high quality patient care and exceptional experiences. This includes documenting detailed notes for any appointment confirmations, cancelations and/or reschedules.
  • Acquire detailed insurance breakdowns and verify insurance eligibility for the days' schedule in advance.
  • Check-out patients and collect coordinating treatment copays.
  • Treatment plan and provide accurate cost estimates by paying close attention to each patient's individualized dental insurance benefits.
  • Being comfortable with collecting copays in full at the time of service.
Previous dental front office experience is highly desired, and preferred. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
