In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help streamline daily operations, coordinate patient appointments, verify insurance information, and support the overall smooth functioning of the clinic. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to excellent patient care through exceptional front desk support and office management. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and providing excellent patient service. Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental practice management software such as Archy. Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle billing inquiries with accuracy Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently and taking detailed messages when necessary. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and processing payments while supporting dental billing and coding tasks. Support office operations by filing documents, managing electronic health records (EHR) systems Requirements Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental administrative procedures. Familiarity with cloud based dental practice management software like Dentrix Ascend, Archy Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and typing skills (10-key typing). Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, dental billing processes, insurance verification, and dental coding. Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology and office management practices is highly advantageous.
