Job Description
Growing, fast-paced Pediatric Practice in North Bethesda is in search of a Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our team. Front Office Experience, Skills and Qualifications include:
- Pleasant and outgoing personality
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail
- 1 year experience in the medical field
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience with eClinicalWorks a plus but will train the right candidate
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Evenings and Saturdays availability Front Office Duties include but are not limited to:
- Answering a high volume of telephone calls
- Greeting patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner
- Checking patients in and updating patient demographics
- Verifying and updating Insurance information
- Collecting co-payments and payments for account balance
- Scheduling appointments
- Checking patients out
