Dental Receptionist / Front Desk

Rockville Smile Studio is a new, modern dental office opening in Rockville this summer. We are looking for an experienced Dental Front Desk team member who is personable, friendly, organized, and confident managing the patient experience from the first phone call through checkout. This role is ideal for someone who has dental office experience, understands the importance of excellent communication, and enjoys helping patients feel welcomed, informed, and cared for. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming front-office experience Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments Manage patient check-in and check-out Verify insurance benefits and explain basic coverage information Present treatment plans and support financial discussions Collect payments and maintain accurate patient account information Submit and follow up on dental claims as needed Maintain organized patient records and front-desk workflows Help manage recall, confirmations, and patient communication Support marketing, community engagement, and new patient growth efforts as needed Qualifications Prior dental front desk experience required Experience with dental insurance verification. Strong communication and customer service skills Comfortable discussing treatment plans, balances, and payments Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask Friendly, professional, and patient-focused Experience with dental practice management software is a plus Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can help create a polished, welcoming, and seamless patient experience. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
